When it comes to transferring existing bank accounts over to ANZ — including things like balances, automatic payments, direct debits and bill payments — we can do the lot. Then we call you to make sure everything's working right.
If you are new to ANZ
Before you can fully use your account, we will need to get a copy of your signature and sight your ID for our files. This means a trip into your local ANZ branch with:
- Your passport; New Zealand driver's licence; New Zealand student photo ID; or another New Zealand bank's credit card with your photo on it;
- Any two of the following: another New Zealand bank's embossed bank card or credit card in your name; SuperGold Card; Hospitality Association of NZ, 18+ Card, Community Services Card or a Certificate of Incorporation.
